PRE-RELEASE SCOOPS FOR SW SPRING VIEWINGSPortrait of a lady on fire

The line-up of titles for Cinema for All South West’s Spring Viewings in Bath and Lostwithiel has broken all previous records by featuring no less than three new releases currently, or about to be, screened in cinemas.

Portrait of a Lady on Fire opened only a couple of weeks ago and is already attracting large and enthusiastic audiences on the South West’s art-house circuit.  So, the South West Group is delighted to be able to offer Community Cinemas in our area a chance to preview this exceptional Cannes Festival winner.  The Spring Viewing line-up also includes the Georgian drama And Then We Danced and System Crasher a powerful German movie, both scheduled to open in Bristol’s Watershed cinema later this month.  A triple coup for the SW Group!

On Sunday 22 March the Eastern event will be held at Widecombe Social Club, Bath.
On Sunday 29 March Lost in Film will host the Western event in Lostwithiel, Cornwall.
More details now updated in the  FSW-Newsletter-2020-03.pdf.

This includes all the details you need for the forthcoming viewing days in Bath and Lostwithiel together with booking forms.  All you now need to do is decide which venue you’d like to attend and then whizz your application forms – and payment – to Andy Hastie.  Please note that, because we’re after the most current films, the schedule is not absolutely buttoned-down and so includes a couple of standbys in case we don’t get our first choices.  Whichever we get it will be a great day and we hope to see you at one of the venues.

Other late news – Rebecca Ellis, a Cinema for All trustee, is to introduce new Block Bookings title, Rocks, at the Bath event.
